IN THIS VIDEO: Almonds that did not fall off of the tree during harvest season are later shaken off of the tree during the winter. These almonds that are shaken during the winter are referred to as: mummies. In this video we are sweeping the mummies, after they have been shaken off of the trees. The mummies are swept into windrows so that they can be mowed and or shredded.
